Overview
About Me
I am an economist and editor. I love reading, traveling, and I’m a big dog lover—I have three of them! When I’m not busy with work, I enjoy spending time at my countryside home with my dogs. I’m passionate about traveling and learning from different cultures. I also love reading about history, philosophy, literature, and economics.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I think it's an excellent way to meet people from different countries and build meaningful connections. When you travel to other places, you can also be welcomed by locals. There’s always something to talk about with people from different cultures—you can share local traditions and customs like food, culture, and more, while also learning about theirs. Plus, it gives me a great opportunity to practice and improve my English.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy a wide variety of music, but my favorites are progressive rock, hard rock, and metal. I also love classic salsa, 90s salsa, and merengue. When it comes to movies, I’m into thrillers and documentaries, especially those about 20th-century history. I’m a big fan of Russian realism, and my favorite book is The Brothers Karamazov. I’m also fascinated by Tolstoy. In terms of philosophy, Kant and Hume are among my favorites. From the 20th century, I enjoy Camus' existentialism.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2014, my father and I built a camper to travel from Ecuador to the World Cup in Brazil. It was about a month-long road trip, during which my brother, three uncles, and I explored Peru, Chile, Bolivia, Argentina, Paraguay, and Brazil. I've also traveled by bus across Central America.
