About Me
Hey there! I'm Jonathan from Dresden, Germany. I play the piano and guitar, try to write my own songs. And I go out into nature as often as possible!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To be honest, cheaper traveling sounded pretty awesome. Meeting people that live where you travel, seeing how people live there, sounds even better! And "traveling" the world from my own couch by hosting people and listening to their stories is an amazing opportunity I'm glad to have.
I can't offer any more than a sleeping mat on the floor for one or maybe two people. If that's fine with you: Come on over! :)
Interests
I've always played the piano and started the guitar a while ago. I also sing along, in case anyone wants to bear with me :P
I like to go on a hike (if I have time and you are interested: The Saxon Switzerland National Park is just a few stations by train and offers some beautiful views) or just sit at the Elbe river and enjoy the sunset. Though these are obviously rather suited for the summer.
In case you're wondering (some people are) : As a psychology student, I still can't read your mind. Not even a bit. Well, maybe just as good as anyone could. Certainly not any better ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
Tough one, let's start easy:
Movies: Back To The Future, 2001 – A Space Odyssey, Dances With Wolves, ...
Books: Harry Potter, The Age of Miracles, The Lord of the Rings, ...
Music: I'm listening to almost anything, so to 'narrow' it down: jazz, blues, rock'n'roll, rock, pop, swing, indie, singer-songwriter, classical music, country, folk, ... (Sorry, for a more detailed view, let's just listen to some music ;))
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2018 I hiked 2.000 miles (3.200km) on the Pacific Crest Trail between Mexico and Canada!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can play the piano and the guitar. And I certainly know a thing or two about hiking!
I always love to learn new languages or to get insights into other people’s lifes and cultures
What I Can Share with Hosts
Storys about life in Germany and about hiking for over 4 months at a time. insights into the field of psychology, and if you got some kinds of instruments: a jam session! (Though I'm not a professional by any means) :D
