About Me

The where I grew up question is difficult of weird for me. I am a state department kid so my family and I moved every two - three years and mostly just overseas travel. I chose South Africa only because I was born there.

I studying Business and IT at Virginia Tech along with French and Computer Science. I really love meeting like-minded people and discovering new places. Sometimes I think I value the connections I can make in new places over seeing monuments and churches.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to try different means of lodging while traveling actually. I think it's awesome to get a chance and meet people that actually live wherever you are going. I've tried HackerHouses in San Francisco, student housing in Berkeley but I've always been curious about Couchsurfing.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to just about all music except for country and rock. I grew up with old school r&b, soul but enjoy a lot of deep house and french rap too.

I'm currently reading an amazing book called the Adventures of Klavier and Clay - would definitely recommend.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking Yosemite was lifechanging.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've lived in 6 different countries now so yeah there's some things I could share - like living with Maasai for 3 days, that was incredible. I know a lot about technology and love discussing the implications of our use of it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Great conversation, I'm a bit of wanderer/nomad at this point so a bunch to speak on there.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Monaco, Morocco, Netherlands, Singapore, United Arab Emirates
