ABOUT ME

I'd like to think that I am personable, able to get on with just about anyone. I am kind and well mannered, although I'm always being told to stop saying thank you. I am a good listener, and I do like a nice discussion. I have been called stubborn before, but I have been trying to tone that down and be more open minded.

Interests

I really enjoy the outdoors-hiking, camping, simply doing things. I have become addicted to traveling and meeting new people with all their stories. I love when I'm hitchhiking and I step into a new car and the person/people are there and just bursting to talk about their stories and my stories, it's a wonderful feeling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-I was in Greece, going to my first WWOOF farm (It's an organization of organic farms all around the world where people can go and work in exchange for food and a bed) and I was taking the bus to the town where I would be picked up. I met these two Dutch guys, from Amsterdam, and we started talking and sharing stories and things. Turns out they had been hitchhiking the past few months all around Europe, and that was the first bus they had taken- just to get out of the city and find a place to sleep. I told them about WWOOF and the farm and they said they would like to go too. Six weeks later, I give them both a hug goodbye as they leave the farm and tell them I will be in Amsterdam soon to visit them. Looking back it's just amazing the people you meet and the experiences you have all by chance, had I taken an earlier bus I would never have met them.
