I had quite a transient upbringing, spending time in Hong Kong, Australia and America. Once settled in Melbourne, I went through school, then straight to university to study something I wasn't invested in, and it was then when I realised I needed to take some time away. I took a year off to travel around Europe and Africa in 2013, which is when I used Couchsurfing for the first time, resulting in memorable experiences with genuine, stimulating and lovely people. When I came home I locked myself in for a three year undergraduate in Screenwriting at Melbourne University. Having completed it in November 2016, I've uprooted again, this time with my girlfriend, Kate. Since 2011 I have worked as an English tutor to Chinese students from ages 6-18.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My girlfriend and I are travelling South and Central America this year and are keen to experiment with Couchsurfing. It's a platform with a lot to offer and we hope to meet some open and interesting people and see their home city/town/country through their eyes.
