Overview
About Me
Boring factual stuff about me:
I grew up on a farm in the rural area of Bavaria. At 16 I did an apprenticeship to become an electrician. I finished that with 20 and worked a bit for an oil company and the large Audi factory in Ingolstadt afterward. Growing dissatisfied with my life trajectory I went back to an art school in Augsburg where I recently got my university degree. I'm looking forwards to spending some time traveling until I start studying (either psychology or sociology) this October.
My Interests:
I like to read a lot of popular science books (mostly psychology) and all kinds of fiction. I try myself at all kinds of art stuff, like painting with acryl, writing books, and producing electronic music. I also meditate daily and try to develop a regular yoga practice.
What I'm like:
I'm quite mature about life choices but am often rather lost in thoughts in the presence and have an idiotic humor, though I also like to talk about deeper philosophical topics. I'm an open and emphatic person and care deeply about my friends. I'm always down to try new things, but can also keep myself busy for hours easily.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I suffered from anxiety while growing up but have a while ago reached a point where I'm comfortable with meeting new people and experiencing new cultures on my own and currently really feel the urge to make use of that.
An important part of that motivation is personal growth, testing what I'm capable of, and the excitement of not knowing what will happen.
