About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Conquer the (food) world, one bite at a time.
ABOUT ME
I am a former UC Berkeley student, just finished my B.A. in Political Science and now studying abroad in France for a year. I live in Paris, and try to travel as often as possible. I believe I am quite friendly. I also speak fluent Spanish and I'm almost there with French. I would love to meet people to speak french with. Currently studying at Sciences Po, Paris. I'm excited to make the most out of my year here. Feel free to ask me anything about California (particularly the SF bay area!).Unfortunately I have no other room at my flat other than empty floor or my own bed. It sucks, as I would love to host people as well.
PHILOSOPHY
There is no key to happiness. The door is always open."I can very well do without God but I cannot do without something that is greater than I am, which is my life: the power to create." -Vincent Van Gogh No one can make you feel inferior without your own consent." - Eleanor Roosevelt"...if by a 'Liberal' they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people -- their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties -- someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a 'Liberal,' then I'm proud to say I'm a 'Liberal.'" - John F. Kennedy
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only done this twice (Belgium and London): both times I let other friends deal with arrangements. However both experiences were extremely positive. I was quite shocked by how incredibly nice couchsurfers can be so I decided to finally give this a try.
Interests
Food (I can't stress that enough), good music, languages and I am also a huge political nerd. My ideal evening is a long chat having coffee and discussing, per say, income inequality in the U.S. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm really open with music (from Freddie Mercuy to Brandon Flowers), but I tend to prefer electronic and alternative. Some classical can fit the mood at times as well. Favorite Movie: V for VendettaFavorite Book: The Great Gatsby
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Arriving in France was definitely a first. Eating my first croissant should be added too.
