Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: good, independent and original is the criteria.
Music: Underground hip-hop is my first love; jazz is the most elevated music; soul is my groove--but I love all good music. My average playlist is very eclectic.
Books: I read a lot of them these days, mainly critical scholars, i.e., Karl Marx, Michel Foucault, Mahmood Mamdani, David Harvey, Neil Smith, Richard Slotkin, Hannah Arendt, Antonio Gramsci, Duncan Foley, Paul Kramer, Walden Bello, the list goes on.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiked from Manchester, England to Focsani, Romania. One of my best trips to date.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach about critical theory. Learn about anything that someone is willing to teach me. Share good times and new stories.
