CURRENT MISSION

more of a creed i'd say but investing in people, listening and not judging them period. like pablo coello put it, everyone has their own personal legend that needs fulfilling; everyone has a story and as a writer what drives me is sharing and listening to those stories.
my faith tells me that there is only one Judge and i am at peace in knowing that i'm commended to love and have compassion for others. easier said than done hahaa and trust that this does not come easy, but i feel like i'm getting better at it 👍🏽

ABOUT ME

i graduated from uni a few years back and what was supposed to be a short stint with virgin america has now become 7+ years. during my time at virgin i've travelled to over 47 countries, made life-long friendships across many borders, gotten denge twice, been interrogated & had my gear confiscated by cuban customs officials, spent nights in countless airport/train terminals, and yet i can't quite get enough.

in the middle of all of this, i found time to go back to school and i became a sound mixer. ive been mixing professionally for over a year now and its been great because i now get paid to travel! i love working for the airline and recording sound for docs & movies and in my spare time, when i actually get some, i also prose.

i was born and raised in los angeles, i know her like the back of my hand. and although i cant offer accommodations, i am more than willing to show you around this beautiful city. i have a small suv that fits 3-4 people max so if we're both in town just holler at ya boy.

a lifetime ago i graduated from uni with an english major degree with two emphasis: creative writing and english education. i can tutor people on their writing skills and give constructive feedback in regards to the writing process.

most recently i've become well versed in the world of live sound recording. i know how to record sound and dialogue in challenging situations and can operate most production mixers and wireless systems. i also have a knack at mic'ing talent and getting the best sound.

what else...i'm not much of a cook but i can make a mean pb&j 👌🏽
