I'm a theatre artist and writer doing with a masters degree in social justice and equity studies. I ran an LGBTQ+ theatre company for six years in Calgary, Alberta and lived in Niagara, Ontario before I moved to Victoria with my partner. I love hosting people and showing them the region - wine tasting, good conversations, beautiful scenic drives and walks in old growth forests or by the ocean. I'm very chill and love meeting new people. I'm an enneagram 4w3 and Meyers Briggs ENFP. I am queer and also a spiritual person.

I work from home and am looking for ways to get my socializing time in to keep me sane and just wanting to meet amazing people. I love the communal pay it forward feeling of couch surfing - when I travel I don't want to live like a tourist, I want to live like a local and see their culture and city through their eyes.

Love all kinds of music and am usually listening to something - I listen to Betty Who, Christophe Mae, Troye Sivan, Regina Spektor, Jann Arden, Ariana Grande, Arizona, Christine and the Queens, Robyn, Tegan and Sara, Stromae, Oh Wonder, Florence and the Machine, Bastille, Mika, and so much more. Also love podcasts - The Liturgists is blowing my mind right now. Fav TV series: Schitt's Creek, Sense8, The Crown. Recently watched Nanette and loved it. I love reading young adult fantasy/sci-fi when I'm not working on my research or books on spirituality. Favourite movies of all time include: First Wives Club, Fried Green Tomatoes, Life of Pi, Joyeux Noel, Gattaca, The Sandlot, Amelie, Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Matrix, The Fifth Element. Also into Philosophy/Theology podcasts and books when my brain isn't saturated with Master's work.
