About Me

Hello!
Our names are Naama and Jonathan, we are students in Jerusalem who love traveling and hosting. The rest of the information is from Jonathan's old profile.
see you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because it combines three things I love - traveling, new people and adventure! I consider myself a very good guest and an even better host! hope to meet new people, show around as a host and discover new places as a guest!

Interests

First of all Music. Then, arts of any kind such as dance, poetry, theater, photography, spoken word, drawing and everything. I'm not so good at everything but I'm always open to trying. I love volleyball and almost every sport there is (exept curling) and especially I love Traveling mountains and valleys, rivers or deserts. My best sleep is in the nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Jazz: Chick Corea, Avishai Cohen, Brad Mehldau, Esperansa Spalding, Joe Pass, Michelle Camilo, Nina Simone
Other: Beatles, Electro Deluxe, Led Zeppelin, Adele, Maroon 5, Norah Jones, Randy Newman and many more.
Disney: I love Disney! I know almost every movie by heart - try me.
Best movies ever: "O' Brother Where art thou" "Sience of Sleep" "Mystic River"
Best books: "One Hundred Years of Solitude" "Between Two Citys" "Les Miserables" Erich Fromm's "The Art of Loving".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I did was "Blind Pianists"
My friend and I took two elctrick pianos outside to the street, put them one infront of the other, put blindfolds and play whatever came to mind for three hole hours. Right beside us stood an open microphone and an extra blindfold, people from the street could just come, put the blindfold without telling us and start singing. The only rules were no words - only improvising. People from the street started singing and we joined them without talking, only listening and playing. Great singers came up though we do not know their names or even how they look like.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach:
Piano, Guitar, Juggling, Hebrew, How to make a wolf-goat out of paper, Riddles and basic mathematics.
Questions about Israel I can try to answer I hope I know enough.
