About Me

I'm a communications student at Santa Barbara City College. I'm really interested in traveling, which is why I made this account. I love meeting lots of cool, different people from all over the world. I've lived in some pretty exotic places in the past two years or so, and have a lot of stories of my adventures. I love meeting people who also have that adventurous spirit--and most of the couch-surfing community does too! I hope to work for a non-profit someday.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing right now because I was again, that crazy guy who moved to a new place with no money (to go to college though, so it's kind of noble, right?) I'm looking for a place to crash until my financial aid at SBCC comes through and I can get a place to move here permanently. Should be about a week or so until it comes through, but until then I've got nowhere to stay! Wanna help a fellow surfer out? :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music... Janis Joplin, Stevie Nicks, Capital Cities, Passion Pit, and I really like Brasilian music. My favourite movie is Kill Bill-- I think it's absolute genius. My favourite book is "The Secret Life of Bees" or "Eat, Pray, Love" (I know that's a middle-aged mom book but it is admittedly my bible).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekked the jungles of Northern Thailand in Chiang Mai/Doi Ithanon. One of the best adventures so far!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a little introverted at first, but once I get talking I can be very fun and personable. I have so many stories and people are always amazed at the crazy stuff I've been through. If I stay with you, my promise is to tell you some good-old-fashioned memoirs.
