About Me

I'm an adventurer at heart and have always been interested in venturing into the unknown since I was a kid. I'm a big believer in going with your gut, staying true to your heart and values, and I think the rest often takes care of itself.

I went to school for playwriting, and always felt at home in the theatre, so I'm very passionate about creative writing and language, what happens between the lines and what brings people together. I think every day is a beautiful mess of a mystery and I want to continue to find more and more ways to be truthful, feel everything, and find more and more ways to express the things that often seem impossible to express. I think being true to ourselves is the best gift to share with others, and this only seems to foster love, kindness, compassion, and new perspectives. I believe we're highly intuitive, sensitive creatures and we're all together here to help each other find our way back to these natural states. I think it's important to always find the link between self-reflection and solitude and deep connection with other human beings. Couchsurfing completely fosters that.

My dad was in a lot of folk/bluegrass bands and taught me guitar when I was a kid, so I've been writing songs and playing music for a while as well. I'm always so excited about traveling, having unexpected connections and conversations, and seeing the world from as many perspectives as possible. I think everyone has a story worth telling and listening to.

I'm an extremely mellow, easy-going and clean guest! Having lived in different cities with different living situations, I'm very respectful of sharing a space. I'm always happy to connect with the host(s), but am always happy doing my own thing too. Whatever works.

Thanks and I look forward to meeting you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am always eager to hear another person's story and perspective. I think crossing paths with people while traveling is one of the most magical forms of human connection. Some of the most amazing connections I've had are with people I've met while I (or they) have been traveling. I think Couchsurfing, having an open heart, and meeting and relating to others, is for a certain kind of soul - and I hope to cross paths with as many of these people as I can.
