About Me

I'm a social worker living in Fürth. Fürth grew together with Nuremberg and thus you can get to the center of Nuremberg pretty fast (15 minutes via public transport).

My girlfriend Anja, our dog Psy and i share a cozy apartment in a very old building.
Our apartment is the only one without central heating, so we have to use firewood to heat.
Unfortunately that means that your room might get a little cold in winter - we have heating underblankets and a lot of regular blankets though so that you won't get cold at night. In the evening you can stay in the living room with us, share stories, enjoy the heat of the sweden oven and relax in our beanbags.

You can generally feel free to use our apartment as your own - as long as you clean up after yourself.
We don't expect you to share all your time with us (we have lifes as well), but we don't like to be used as a free hostel either.
If you're just looking for a cheap accomodation and aren't interested in conversation, (cultural) exchange and other aspects of the couchsurfing spirit at all, please don't contact us.

Oh, and we're vegans. We usually don't make that a topic at all, but after former guests brought us a huge fat salami as a surprise present, we decided to add this paragraph to our profiles :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Electronic music (mostly Psytrance, less common Techno, D'n'B, Dub...), sometimes classic German Hip Hop, Rock and other stuff.
I know a lot of movies and series, yet i'm not that much into the topic.
...and i can't really tell you what kind of books i prefere. It varies too much.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Antalya, security personell caught Anja and me trespassing a fenced area around a waterfall in need of a sleeping place. Story ends with two turkish police officers treating us to tea and cookies at a coffee shop.
