About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Expand my horizons by meeting new people and exploring new places
ABOUT ME
I'm currently a medical student in Southern California. I grew up in a wonderful family of 6 as the youngest of 4 kids. I've moved up and down the eastern half of the U.S., but I spent most of my time in Georgia. I love doing anything to get outside and nerding out on anything to do with classical music or science. I'm also a Christian, and seek to serve God in everything I do. I consider myself a cheery person, and I love exploring new places.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that relationships with others and with God are the most important thing in life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I enjoyed couchsurfing this last summer, and hope to host people at some point, but with medical school and a house shared with other roommates (who aren't couchsurfers-yet!), my couch is not currently available.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed once in Vienna in July, '13. I had a great first experience and definitely plan on couchsurfing next time I travel!
Interests
Piano music, classical concerts, backpacking, hiking, running, snow-skiing, chamber music, Christianity, reading, medicine, finding recipes and restaurants with gluten/dairy/soy-free options that taste good!

Music, Movies, and Books
I always love reading books and watching movies based on true stories; I prefer learning about real-life experiences.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was Harold Hill in the Music Man in 7th grade! And my baton (in "76 trombones") fell from my waste belt, down the inside of my pants, and I slowly...painfully gave birth to this great stick. It then stayed on stage for 3 scenes! I'll never get tired of this story.
Teach, Learn, Share
I graduated with a degree in music, so theoretically I should have a decent knowledge about music, music history, and performance :) I'm in my third year of medical school, and still have tons to learn!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I live with two housemates who aren't couch surfers, but I hope to eventually be able to host people! I also don't happen to live in a very exciting location right now (1-2 hours east of LA)
Countries I’ve Visited
