I am a pretty chill person. I like my free time when I have it and love lazing about watching anime or sleeping. For fun, I like interacting with people through board games rather than watching movies or tv shows (though I don't mind movies and tv shows either). I also really, really like west coast swing dancing. Look it up on youtube. :)

People are constantly surprised that I don't drink and never been drunk. I just don't like the taste of alcohol. Also I don't smoke anything at all. No drugs either. Not remotely interested in any of that and no plans to start. Other people can do what they like, but I have better things to use my money for.

I speak English (obviously) and French. My French isn't that great anymore, but I can carry basic conversations and understand the gist of what folks say. I really need to expand my French vocab. Over the past few years I've acquired a rough comprehension of basic Japanese, but this is extremely rudimentary and mostly auditory comprehension as I am not yet able to really speak Japanese. My Japanese is even more limited in terms of vocabulary.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am traveling outside the U.S. for the first time in 8 years and will need some couches to crash on in the near future. Heard good stuff about Couchsurfing.com and figured I'd give it a whirl. See what all the hullabaloo was about.

Music, Movies, and Books

Probably my all time favorite book series has to be the Wheel of Time. I love just about all types of electronic dance music. I have no idea what my favorite movie is, but I tend to gravitate towards action/adventure genre.
