About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world on limited funds while I start my own business
ABOUT ME
Hello to all! Just your average American college student here. I am currently embarking on a global learning experience, taking a year away from Georgetown to study in Morocco and the United Kingdom. In Morocco I was lucky enough to be able to study in Ifrane at Al-Akhawayn University with some amazing people, both Moroccan and international, some of whom led me to this great organization.
Studying abroad has reignited my desire for travel, and I think I've been going non-stop since last September!
PHILOSOPHY
At the end of the day, I am always answerable to one person and one person only: Myself. I live everyday trying to make that peron happy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven't yet, but when I get back to the states, I sure hope to extend my home to others!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've never couch surfed yet, but I heard about this great community through my friend Katherine Sullivan and Melissa Aslo. While studying together in Morocco, the girls couch-surfed multiple times, and their positive experiences encouraged me to become a part of this ever-growing family at CouchSurfing.org.
I'll be sure to update once I have had some experiences of my own.

Music, Movies, and Books
If I sat here and listed my favorite films for you, we could be here all day, so I am just going to throw a few directors, actors or movies at you: Hitchcock, Bergman, Woody Allen, Kevin Spacey, LA Confidential, The Night of the Hunter, Anchorman, My Best Friend's Wedding, Grace Kelly, The Philadelphia Story, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Die Hard, Jurassic Park, Anything James Bond or Star Wars related, The Coen Brothers, Christopher Guest, City of God, Magnolia and Boyz N the Hood. Phew.
TV: Seinfeld, Curb your Enthusiasm, Arrested Development, SNL, The Sopranos, Weeds, Nurse Jackie, Summer Heights High, Mad Men, Dexter, 30 Rock, The Office. I'm pretty out of the loop with TV right now, as I am out of the country most of the season.
Books: My tastes stretch far and wide, but: Michael Crichton, 1984, Biographies (with shout-outs to John Meachem's American Lion and anything about LBJ), The Count of Monte Cristo, David Sedaris.
Music: Anything EXCEPT Metal. And I mean anything. My playlists stretch from ABBA to Van Halen to the BeeGees to the Notorious BIG to the Police to Allison Kraus and back again.
