About Me
ABOUT ME
28 from the USA. I grew up in upstate New York(did you know that there is something above NYC?) in a town bordering Canada(Quebec) and Vermont. I spend as much time as I can exploring city streets or any kind of wilderness. I like meeting people from different walks of life and trying new things. I work at an Outdoor Education Center which is a blast! I had the chance to spend an incredible year in New Zealand back in 2012, ask me and I'll tell you all about it. I'm always looking to the horizon for the next adventure(between trips)
PHILOSOPHY
"Develop the strength to do bold things, not the strength to suffer."
"The most dangerous risk of all -- the risk of spending your life not doing what you want on the bet you can buy yourself the freedom to do it later.”
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted travelers before as well as crashed on numerous couches although without using this website. I'm looking to meet other couch surfers, gain some of their knowledge and advice and maybe crash on a couch or two.
*edit
Slowly gaining more experience in utilizing the website and meeting other couchsurfers to hangout, to surf or to host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Historically I've used CS as a means to meet other travelers or locals.
Interests
I love to hike--with most of my experience being in the Adirondacks of New York State. Got some great trips in during my year in New Zealand...and I recently got to hike my first Glacier while traveling in Iceland. I like learning new things, trying new foods and gaining new hobbies. I'm very community oriented.
