Overview
About Me
I am a young and keen traveller, wanting to explore as much of the world and as many cultures as possible. Coming from a mixed background (German, West-African) and having lived in multiple countries (Germany, Italy, New Zealand), being multicultural is natural to me. Being the eldest of three brothers, I have learned to be a very responsible person. I love the outdoors and sports in general. Cooking is a passion of mine, cooking for others in particular. Bicycles also fascinate me, I do lots of roadbiking and can spend hours working on bikes. In school I found science most intriguing which is why I am now studying Physics.
These days probably also worth a mention, I am fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and wear masks in crowded places, for the sake of staying healthy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
First and foremost to not just visit superficially like a typical tourist. I hope couchsurfing will enable me to really connect to locals and get to know not only the beautiful country but also its people. I believe that is what travelling should really be about. Well, here I am, trying to get to know the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
My playlists are a mess. When people ask me what music I listen to I say: Everything, if it's good. However my favourite artists are Dominic Fike and Dire Straits, but my favourite song is Clair de Lune by Claude Debussy. Movies are a bit easier, I really enjoy Marvel and have watched every James Bond movie. I have read many books, the two most recent being "Stephen Fry - Making History" and "Michio Kaku - The Future of the Mind".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sprinted up a volcano at 10000ft in slippers to see the sunset :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach how to:
- juggle, solve a rubik's cube
- create a living sourdough (I will actually have mine with me)
- speak some German
I love to learn:
- new cooking techniques
- languages, accents
- photography skills
I can share:
- recipes
- stories about all the European countries I've been to
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my time and effort around the house/flat. I would be more than happy to assist in any way possible, wether that means cooking for dinner, walking a dog, fixing your bikes or just any manual labour around the place. Even though I am quite young, I have already tried to learn as many practical things as possible.
