ABOUT ME

I like travelling, hanging out with friends and going to clubs, concerts and festivals.

Further, I am an ambitious and motivated post-graduate student and want to become a great interaction designer. I think the field of interaction design is super interesting and the need for more thoughtful design is clear in many ways (i.e. there are too many products and services on the market that only annoy people.. and waste valuable resources).

PHILOSOPHY

Don't worry about things, that makes EVERYTHING a lot more easy :) And fun. And exciting :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have some friends doing this for a longer time, and some friends that joined CS recently. I am telling everybody about the possibility to do CS when they are going to travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One of my best friends is hosting people regularly. And the last few months he has been hosting a girl in his place. I think this is awesome. The same for a fellow student of mine, she could stay for three months in a guy's place without being there. These stories really made me see the beauty of this community.

Interests

I like watching movies and series, or to hang out with friends. In my more active evenings I go to clubs or to concerts.

My professional interests lie in user-centered design and interaction design. Boring as that may sound.. But I am developing a new hobby recently, learning how to drive a motorbike and looking for a Honda CB 550f to refurbish! The plan is to travel through France on this thing together with my girlfriend in the summer of 2010!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am into music to the extend that you can see me in clubs and at festivals at times, things like that I like once in a while. If you would asked me what music I like you would be giving me a hard time.. I would answer house, electro, progressive house, electro, things like that. I just always have trouble naming it.
And I like movies and series and reading a book now and then, too. When I think of it, these are some of my main hobbies :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Things that have shaped me to a noteable extend would be my stays abroad in London, Uxbridge and Stockholm, Sweden. The people you meet and the things you learn and do while being on your own are inexpensible, they shape you as a person and point out the things in yourself you want to work on more.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you need a usability expert or interaction designer, I can probably help you. I am building up a network of professionals around me, which I don't mind to share or to make larger.
Further, I can bake bread :) Which could be handy if world war 4 arrives or when you forgot to buy bread on a drowsy Sunday afternoon.
