About Me

CURRENT MISSION

New experiances, knowledge, enlightenment and fun.

ABOUT ME

Bit of a travel junkie. Started travelling for the insight it provides into culture and history... and the interesting & entertaining people I meet along the way keep me travelling.

When in Australia, I'm a varied contractor, want-to-be photographer, beach lizard, car meddler, and someone who tires to avoid "normal" 9 - 5 work as much as possible...

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live... provided you conform totally to my point of view on all things :-P

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meeting, networking, surfing... haven't hosted yet, because I haven't been properly settled for the last few years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Excellent (so far!) - I've met top people, and have had great surfing experiences.

Interests

People, philosophy, psychology, movies, photography, music, cars, diving, history, nature, swimming, tennis... and I also love talking crap & having a laugh.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ah, movies... some random favourites include: Fight Club, District 9, Donnie Darko, Shutter Island, Inglorious Bastards, Terminator 2, The Shawshank Redemption, 12 Monkeys, The Changeling, Grand Torino,

Potentially can enjoy almost any and all kinds of music, but my favourite band is Tool - and (unsurprisingly given that fact) I'm also impressed with A Perfect Circle and Puscifer.

Quite honestly, I find books are rarely as good as people make out they are... although Marching Powder did live up to expectations. Lately if I'm reading a book it'll probably be something non-fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One highlight was visiting Egypt... the amazing history made it was THE place I'd always wanted to see for as long as I could remember - and when I did, it met and exceeded expectations.
