Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
This is actually hard to come up with.
In the Pugent Sound around Seattle we get red tide algae quit often. I was anchored out in the sound with my boat during one of these red tide algae blooms, when I looked down into the water to see a gorgeous florescent trail being cut through the water with my anchor line. As the current passed by the boat the algae would get disturbed by the anchor line which caused them to light up a bright green color. It was pitch black out, not clouds in the sky, only bright stars, a black ocean and this bright green sparkle throughout the water. I was awestruck.
In the Pugent Sound the water near the shoreline is an awful gray color that matches the awful gray clouds which persist almost year round. It wasn't until I bought a boat and headed out to the San Juan Islands when all that changed. I pulled my boat into a small bay formed by Sucia Island and for the first time I got to see water that was so clear and so clean that I could see fifty feet to the bottom. The water was an amazing deep green and deep blue, it exists nowhere near the main shore. I was awestruck.
I love to go hiking in the mountains around Washington State. My younger brother, my cousin and I went on a hike to a remote lake near Mount Baker. We drove an hour to the unmaintained road and then another hour or two out into the forest. When we finally found the trailhead we hiked about an hour and a half up towards Bear Paw Lake. The trail opened up into a meadow with the lake in the distance. As we walked through the meadow up to the lake, the trees stood high around us on two sides and the mountain wrapped around the lake, like a huge crater around the other two sides. The tip of the mountain was still covered in snow which created so many little fresh water streams down into the lake. About one hundred feet off the shore was an island out in the middle of the lake, with a stone path that lead to it. We tip toed through the shallow water out onto the island and setup camp for the night. This area is so serene, so untouched, and when the stars came out that night it was such a perfect view of the milky way galaxy. You could see every star, every color, and so much detail that we just laid there for hours, awestruck of the view.
