I love indulging my passion for travel and adventure. I'm friendly, approachable and easy to get on with. I have an adventurous streak that means I love saying yes to new fun and exciting challenges.

PHILOSOPHY

Treats others as you would like to be treated. I believe the vast majority of people around the world are friendly and interested in helping others. I'm hoping to prove that this is correct as I continue my travels.

It's been great so far on this trip. I've meet many wonderful, friendly, kind and interesting people. Just what I was hoping for. I've always loved meeting new people and believe in taking advantage of local hospitality whenever possible.

Interests

I'm happiest when spreading my own version of Kiwi fun and adventure around the world, while meeting new people, visiting new places, and enjoying new experiences and customs. I love trip planning just as much as the trip itself. It allows my imagination to run wild with ideas of cool things to do. Especially if it means trying new adrenaline based activities and sports, exploring areas of natural beauty, or visiting the great cities of the world. I'm also bit of a foodie, so I love trying local delicacies and beverages from around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a wide variety of music. Rock, classical and loads inbetween. I'm a big movie buff. Love sci-fi and action films. But also dramas and thrillers that make you think.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I loved trekking in Torres del Paine in Chile. The scenery was spectacular. The people that I meet while I was in South America were fantastic. many a still great friends.

Relaxing on the beach in Thailand always provides me with happy memories.

I was part of the first cricket team to tour Afghanistan and play the national side in Kabul.

I drove overland from London to China / SE Asia (via the Stans) and back via India, Nepal, Pakistan, Iran and Turkey. Then back to London through Europe over 9.5 months in 2013. You can check out the journey at www.thegreatgamemovie.com
