About Me

Which best describes me is the desire to travel and to get to know what awaits me on every new country. The desire to share, to lose myself, and to awake each day surrounded by different people and different places. Falling in love with places, and especially with its people. Miss what I leave behind for loving what awaits me, and create bonds that neither time nor distance can break. To adapt to every situation, to every country, to get out from my confort zone, and to learn to say goodbye. Learn to value every detail of every trip and every person, and make the best of them!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why not? I love hanging out and discovering different places and habits. I am passionate about exchanging culture, likings and ideas, and I love sharing moments with new people while visiting a new country. Overall, I support the social movement behind this platform, and I am happy to be part of it and to make it work.

Interests

I like good music (even though I will enjoy dancing shitty music in a club), travelling (in case it was not clear already), partying, hanging out with friends, grabbing few beers and barbecuing in any park, hiking (I love mountains), music festivals, learning and practicing new languages, getting to know different cultures, making friends all over the world. Realizing how close a friend from literally the other side of the world can be, and how much we share even if our cultures are completely different.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was about to finish my bachelor degree, I decided to go in an exchange to Santiago de Chile, which would be just the beginning of my worldwide adventures. It was awesome backpacking all over South America, trekking around Patagonia, walking on the ice on the glacier of Perito Moreno, floating near the lighthouse of the end of the world in Ushuaia, loosing the breath under the waterfalls of Iguazu, getting up at 4am and biking in the dark to see the sunrise near the "moais" in Easter Island, tasting new and delightful food in Peru and climbing infinite stairs to reach the top of Machu Picchu, cycling by the edge of the precipice in Bolivia´s Death Road, running along Salar de Uyuni, sleeping under the stars in a beach in Uruguay, immersing myself in the smog of Santiago de Chile, and living with the incredible, warm and welcoming Chilean people during 6 months.

Right after I moved to The Netherlands to study a master´s degree. I lived in the incredible city of Groningen, which made me believe how easy is to fall in love with a place and with its people. Definitely, I left my heart in that city. And finally I moved to Switzerland, where I am doing an internship while I take time for hiking on the Alps, swimming in the breathtaking lakes or visiting different cities.

In the meantime, I visited many European countries, I hitchhiked on its roads and I enjoyed endless adventures thanks to all the people who was willing to try new things and to share all those incredible moments with me.

Definitely, leaving the fear behind was the most incredible thing that I have ever done, which allowed me to live all these experiences, and which will allow me to keep living them.
