About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To survive as a graduate student and get into a PhD program somewhere!

ABOUT ME

Essentially, I am a fairly open-minded student looking to see the world one little bit at a time. I really enjoy history and want to improve my language skills to help with this occupation in the future.

I am a clean and relatively tidy person who likes to be around others when possible. I like a good beer, but I also like to just sit and think when I get the chance.

PHILOSOPHY

I live by the philosophy that the world is what you make it and every day is precious. I also think that people are inherently good and that you will find kindness and generosity wherever you go.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, although I have never hosted, I just started surfing during my trip through Germany. I will host in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent about a month and a half traveling around Germany, and surfed every single night. How awesome is that? I am REALLY positive about this project.

Interests

History, sports, internet culture, news, traveling, computers, photography, writing, reading (in no certain order of course)

Music, Movies, and Books

too many to list. I am fairly open to new things, so I will try whatever.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Put my feet in Pacific and Atlantic oceans on both sides of Canada. I have also patted Marx's back in East Berlin, and climbed the Reichstag! I am really happy to have visited Germany.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not sure what I can teach, but I sure have a lot to learn. I know some about history and the world in general, so conversation is usually a good way to share my experiences.
