Overview
About Me
After spending many years away, the last 7 years in Berlin, I have now moved back to my hometown in order to start the next chapter of my life. It was not an easy decision giving up a wonderful life, but something was calling me and I have vision that I'm trying to fulfil.
The house I'm living in dates back to 17th century, there's a beautiful garden that I'm trying to turn into a little permaculture paradise, growing heirloom vegetables, mushrooms and this summer I will start constructing a 6m yurt from scratch.
I'm temping at a home for disabled people and the local school, twice a week I have foster kids in the afternoon.
I consider myself a kind and curious soul, trying to live consciously with respect to nature and living beings.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Whenever I travel I rely on the kindness of strangers, so it feels good to be able to give something back, meeting new people and getting inspired.
Interests
I teach mushrooms cultivation workshops and will start doing fermentation and baking courses too.
Also have different instruments that I play to some degree - piano, guitar, flutes.
Food is a big passion for me, used to be vegan for many years but have gone back to an omnivorous diet, with respect and appreciation for the animals - still probably 95% vegetarian.
Also enjoy ice bathing and yoga in the morning, going for a run in the forest and meditating.
