ABOUT ME

I'm an australian born classical pianist studying in southern california (but i'll play basically anything on anything with keys). I work as a pianist, teacher, and sound engineer to subsidise my hectic and at times ridiculous lifestyle. Love going on road trips to explore both nature and man-made marvels. I like talking a lot and meeting new people. People say i'm always happy and positive, but whilst i'm a musician at heart i'm a well grounded individual with a practical bent.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live. To influence myself and my environment with positive energy. But i don't look at everything through rose coloured glasses- i'm too much of a pragmatist for that.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Having just acquired control over my own apartment it has become feasible to host travellers! I'm willing to have people stay with me while they pass through/explore Los Angeles, and if I have time, I'll probably join you if you want. I also enjoy travelling, and hope over the next few years to explore most of north america.

Particular interest in transcriptions of romantic era classical composers and popular songs/showtunes. I enjoy listening to a wide variety of music though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Played in the Sydney Opera House for a capacity crowd of about 2700 screaming high school students- the excitement there was electrifying.

Teach, Learn, Share
