About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet some fellow surfers. Enjoy everything Austin.

ABOUT ME

Musician at heart, engineer for the day job. Drummer since the ripe age of 9. I love meeting new people and hearing their stories.

I just like to go out, see lots of live music, hit up parks with my dog, and meet new and interesting people. I ride a ducati monster. I like IPAs and Rye.

PHILOSOPHY

Optimistic and incredibly lucky. I smile a lot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting and surfing, duh.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted dozens of surfers in the past, most of them through my roommate's CS account. Also traveled a little bit around the US and surfed with some really cool people. Since moving to Austin, I've been able to host more, which has been a fantastic experience. But my life is filled with last minute travel, so I'm not the most reliable long term plan making type. I will however show you a great time in Austin, as a well versed insider, foodie, musician, and fun loving soul. Coffee or drinks work too, I'm always down to meet up with fellow surfers, and will invite you to hang with my friends like you are one of us.

Interests

SCUBA, sushi, live music, bars, beaches, snowboarding, fishing, motorcycles, Philadelphia sports teams, walks.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Boys and Girls Guide to Getting Down, Minus the Bear, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once went to a small town in Mexico called La Mesa De Abajo and stayed for 1 week as a community service project creating the towns first working plumbing system: toilet, and shower.

I just went scuba diving in Costa Rica. It was a life changing experience. I want to plan all of my future vacations around scuba.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn how to surf. I'll give you some drum lessons in return. (I think I originally wrote this over 5 years ago, but it still applies even though I've tried surfing a few times.)
