I'm a midwestern girl who has been living in California for the last 11 years. I grew up on a horse farm wishing I lived in the suburbs and now all I want is to get out of the city and live on a horse farm! I've had a curvy twisty career path that has included wilderness guiding, nonprofit, and tech. I think that means I'm well-rounded ;).

My passions include nature, holistic health and healing, and DANCING. I'm happiest and at my best when I'm on the dance floor!

I love the idea of meeting new people and taking a peek into their worlds. I also love sticking it to capitalism by living outside its demands that we spend money in order to travel. I enjoy when people care about each other and create community instead of just live in our individual little boxes.

I'm a big-time music fan and I'm out all the time- jam bands, funk, bluegrass, brass bands. I also love reading and my favorite books include Gone With the Wind, the Bonfire of the Vanities, and most recently The Great Believers. I'm also on a big spiritual kick these days and have been reading more about Eastern philosophy and religions.
