Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experiences were absolutely spontaneaous and beautifully honest. I am forever indebted to Etienne, my hitchhiking partner in southern France, for letting me stay at his place so that I didn´t have to spend the night on the road (and in the rainstorm). When I thought so much miracle is just impossible, the next day one of the drivers who gave me a ride told me I shouldn´t spend money on the pilgrims´ refuge, I could sleep on his couch... All he asked for in return was to practice English with him.
And these guys hadn´t even heard about CS before!
I had to join this community. I have to give back.
