I would describe myself as an open-minded and friendly person interested in many things.

I studied sociology and now work as a project manager in the field of sustainable consumption. My most passionate hobbies are street photography (visit www.jonasgrauel.net if you're interested) and Bouldering. I also like running, fitness and yoga, reading books or the newspaper, going for a hike, and a bit of guitar playing. I also love to go to the cinema, exhibitions or small concerts.

I like to meet people, to share experiences, to discuss and exchange knowledge. I also like to cook and eat together and discuss interesting topics like traveling, culture, politics, society, psychology, sociology, philosophy, art or religion.

I hosted some really nice people from Ukraine, Brazil, New Zealand, Portugal and other countries and I couch surfed in Berlin, Paris and Bangkok. Really had some surprisingly good talks and with some people I felt as if I would know them for a long time - but we only talked for 10 Minutes! I also had some stunning experiences - I loved the moments when some of the surfers played some songs on the guitar to me and vice versa. I even met a Turkish opera student singing a Mozart song to me ;-) Keen on gathering more experiences with friendly and interesting people!

Music: Mainly Indie and Electro, but also some Soul, Funk, Jazz, HipHop, Pop aso. Movies: Mostly Independent Cinema. "Night on Earth" is one of my Favorite movies.

Books: I like novels which tell about the moral problems of modern society, e.g. by T.C. Boyle, Jonathan Franzen, Chimamanda Adichie.
