I'm an American college student studying in northern Spain for a semester. The reason that I am here is to acclimate myself to new cultures and peoples, learn the language, and experience new things.

I try to live every day to its fullest extent, living content with things as they are but ready to accept new challenges as they come.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - all sorts, too many to mention, but a few favorites: High Fidelity, About A Boy, Mary Poppins, The Sting, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and loads of others.

Music - again, all sorts, too many to mention. Pop, blues, soul, rock, and any combination of those. Clapton, Hendrix, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, John Mayer, Kanye West, Gnarls Barkley, Mark Ronson, Coldplay, Amy Winehouse, David Bowie, and that's just scratching the surface.

Books - Not an avid reader, but a few favorites are the entire Harry Potter series, C.S. Lewis, Tolkein/Lord of the Rings, High Fidelity. Always ready for recommendations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending a week in Rome with my family was absolutely phenomenal, and seeing Las Fallas in Valencia, Spain, over spring break was awesome.
