我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Its nice to stay in hostels but many times I am surrounded by people similar to me. It's comfortable being able to speak in english with someone from a similar society... but this isn't why I travel.

I want to meet locals and know the places that they like. The best local foods and know more about their history and culture.

I love the outdoors, to see something beautiful and be in nature and be at peace.

I have been rock climbing for 7 years. I don't do it very often when I travel.

I also really love hikes and seeing a beautiful sunset.

I have been getting into meditation more recently and it has really opened my eyes to see the world with more clarity.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Just one thing!

I've rock climbed half dome. If you don't know what it is google it. It is a giant iconic rockface in Yosemite, an amazing national park in the United States.

I hiked up the day before with all my gear and slept overnight.

The next morning I woke up before the sun came up and headed over to half dome to meet my friends.

It took the entire day to climb but it was very cool to look at the entire Yosemite valley and know that I am in a place where only a few people get to see. It was also so rewarding to get to the top and have the feeling of accomplishment.
