About Me

–––––––––––––
IN A NUTSHELL
–––––––––––––
Hey all !

I'm a travel-spirited Finnish girl, currently based in Helsinki.

According to one very accurate description on Finnish people we divide into two categories: the wine-lover hipsterish snobs, and the beer-consuming easy-going skunks.

Well, I like both wine and beer, so what does that make me?

I have had only positive experiences of CS hosting and meeting amazing people in Helsinki, where I am settled after a couple of years abroad. Now I am working and once in a while (as often as I can) traveling in and outside of Europe.

CURRENT MISSION
––––––––––––––––

Seeing, experiencing and living as fully as possible what this life has to offer. Seizing the little moments of joy and creating a positive vibe in someone's day.

Also, I would like to save the world. Starting with the honey bees.

FOR SURFERS

I don't host anyone without references, so make sure you've got a few before you request a stay.

I appreciate if you have some sort of a plan and ideas about what you would like to do or see here. I work during the week, so I won't probably have time to hang out with you more than in the evenings.

When you write me, tell me a little about yourself, and make sure you include the word "coconuts" somewhere in your message so that I know you read this far.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After hearing tons of recommendations about couchsurfing from fellow-travelers and friends, I don't see any reason why not to. Meeting new people from different countries and cultures is always a great experience, and I think couchsurfing is a great way to find people with the same kind of attitude.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I finished my Master's thesis while living in a hostel for five weeks.
