About Me
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. (...)" - Mark Twain
This is my most favorite quote and I really try to live my life accordingly.
Also, I'm interested in making a real connection and to establish true friendships with the people I meet.
I'm pretty passionate about vegan/plant-based food and healthy eating in general, about dark chocolate (ideally 90% or more), books, the craftsmanship behind mechanical watches, and also about living a minimalistic and well-balanced life in tune with nature – though the latter two are still work-in-progress ...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I absolutely love this site. It's brimming with great people and I do believe this site makes you want to be a better, more open-minded and respectful person.
Thanks to CS I now have friends all over the place. In Iceland, in Belgrade, San Francisco, Cape Town and many other places.

3. Cliff-dived from 21 meters in South Africa
4. Visited old friends in Korea, Japan, and Taiwan whom I met in Australia 10 years ago and haven't seen until our reunion a decade later
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach or share some knowledge about:
- Japanese cooking knives
- gluten-free, vegan/plant-based and very healthy cooking
- how to make your own healthy toothpaste
- dark chocolate and what is important to know about it
- some psychology
I basically would like to learn about all the things you guys are passionate about!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Don't hesitate to ask me for help with grocery shopping, cooking or whatever there is you need help with. I love cooking so if you want I can cook a vegan curry or some hearty pasta.
