ABOUT ME
Easy-going and open-minded Norwegian that is currently an expat in Berlin. Looking to meet new people, see new places and experience new things! New to couchsurfing...
In both my job and spare time I write free and open source software, it is currently one of the things I am most passionate about.
PHILOSOPHY
Living to learn.

Music, Movies, and Books
Very fond of progressive rock and metal, both on record and live. I also enjoy electronic music, blues, jazz and classical from time to time. Typically of the more contemporary kind.
I always carry a book or two. Usually a thriller/fantasy/crimmy and a technical/sciency non-fiction book.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Staying at CERN for three weeks among some of the worlds brightest people. Engineers and scientists working together to solve some of the hardest problems known to mankind. Mmm, geeky!
Teach, Learn, Share
Curious by nature, I'm interested in learning about anything and everything. Sometimes I get lost on the internet or in a book when on a learning spree...
I'd for instance love to learn
- To dance
- To create music
- To create visual art
I love teaching. If you're interested in learning about bicycles, software (in particular GNU/Linux and related) or electronics I have a lot to teach.
For the vast majority of you that are not, I can offer:
- Snowboarding, cross-country skiing, swimming, mountain-biking
I also know a thing or two about communication and sales, but I'm not sure if I'm able to teach that in a cohesive manner.
I share practically all the software I write, making it available under a free and open source license. Whenever I produce other content, I also strive to make it available under an open license. My personal website / blog contains info about some of it.
