Overview
About Me
happy, easy-going guy from the UK. I graduated a few months ago and I am hoping to do some travelling before I begin working in October.
I love playing sports and being active, and in the evenings I like to enjoy a few drinks and socialise!
feel free to add me on Facebook or instagram (@jonny_cattermole)!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am planning a month trip backpacking in French Polynesia, and someone I've spoken to online recommended using Couchsurfing to meet fellow minded people and if I'm lucky enough accommodation for some of my nights there. In French Polynesia I hope to see beautiful places, meet amazing people, experience new cultures and enjoy diving in some of the most amazing sports in the world.
In the meantime I'd be more than happy to host anyone needing accommodation in the St Albans area :)
Music, Movies, and Books
From US country music to mariachi to Berlin techno - I enjoy all types of music!
I also love film with my top directors being Denis Villeneuve, Nolan, Scorsese and Tarentino.
At university most of the reading I did was academic reading in politics, international relations, philosophy and economics, but now I am moving onto a wider array of books.
My favourite fiction book I've read is Family Happiness by Tolstoy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
the 'ha giang loop' motorbike trip in North Vietnam! riding through some of the most amazing scenery on small mountain roads almost carved into the sides of the mountains are memories that'll stay with me forever.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd happily take you out for dinner or perhaps bring along some nice wine! and as always happy and interesting conversation.
