About Me

Hello!

So far, my favorite travel spots are Argentina, Ecuador and the Amazon, and Rome, Italy.

I like relaxing, playing guitar, reading books, having great conversations, eating healthy food,

My style of traveling is to pack light and to see as much of the place as possible. Meeting and being with the people of the place is crucial to having a true experience.

I'd say my life motto is the more I learn the more I have compassion for the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and what better way than to offer my home? Couchsurfing provides me the opportunity to feel as if I'm traveling by meeting travelers. I can live vicariously through each guest's stories.

Interests

I'm interested in global businesses that make a difference in the world. I want to learn the philosophies and spirituality of the world. And I like creating music, singing, playing guitar, and write poetry and lyrics. I love traveling the world, meeting people and hearing their stories.

I'm learning to dance Salsa, play the violin, and speak French.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reggae, blues, funk, rock, jazz, samba, bossa nova, classical and the occasional electronic :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This past summer I had the privilege of working with a team of engineers bringing clean water to farmers in Nepal. I stayed with a host family on the east side of Nepal for a month, while meeting with the local NGO and talking with the community. During the month, my team and I build a clean water distribution system, repaired and old one, and surveyed for a new one.

It was such a great experience as my first time visiting an Asian country and learning the culture and customs. Nepalese are some of the nicest people you will ever meet.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love sharing stories, little gifts, smiles, thoughts and philosophies, and cultural customs.
