About Me
Hey!
I'm Jonny and I'm passionate about all things to do with permaculture, nature connection, music, connecting with people and foooood! I have been volunteering and travelling very steadily since March 2015 learning lots about how to work with the land!
I enjoy food, interesting conversations, getting into my body and meditation and find creative expression through visual art, green woodwork (mainly making spoons), music and all aspects of nature connection!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To save money and have a real experience rather than stay in a hostel and connect with new friends on the way! Also to get a real taste of the culture and area and just have lotsa nice experiences!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Maybe not so amazing to others but I am just so glad I found a way out of the Midlands and gained confidence in myself to go and follow my dreams; to work with the land, be in nature and grow vegetables!
For a long time I wanted to somehow work in nature and as my area has very limited opportunities this was very difficult, plus I had no motivation or much self-confidence.
But I did it, I found out about volunteering sites like wwoof and haven't looked back since! And found an apprenticeship working on an organic market garden in Somerset a year later. It has completey shaped and continues to shape the path I now find myself on.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am having lots of fun lately learning spanish so this would be really helpful!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share positivity, cooking skills, plant knowledge, conversations on nature and agriculture, music, how to make spoons, I'm not sure, lots! Haha.
