I am English and have lived in Scotland for the past 25 years. I run a business importing and distributing rubber and plastic parts for motorcycles. It's a small business, but it allows me to travel and see different things around the world. I mainly work in India and Pakistan where my parts are manufactured.

I am living with my beautiful girlfriend, Orathai, and my handsome dog, Taz.

My main interest is animals - I started two welfare projects in India and one in Pakistan. Actually, that is my primary motivation for doing business, so I can continue to do work in animal welfare.

I enjoy meeting with new people and finding out how we are all living our lives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My niece (Hazy) and I are driving from Scotland to Ankara and we thought it would be great to meet with people along the way.

I enjoy all of Bill Bryson's books.........and I can read those many times over without boredom

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The hardest thing I've done is to ride my motorcycle from Scotland to India (2007). I feel it's the most amazing thing I've done because it was the hardest.
