About Me
{Just moved to Canada, currently not an active host}
Hey there!
I'm an Israeli-Canadian and lived most of my life in Tel Aviv. I've recently moved to Edmonton to see what it's like living here, and to get closer to my sister who has moved here a couple of years ago.
Before moving here I lived in Ein Gedi, an atmospheric kibbutz bordering the Judaean Desert and the Dead Sea.
I enjoy sharing laughs, thoughts and experiences, hiking and traveling while trying out new exciting activities and learning about different cultures. Looking forward to making new friends with easy-going folks!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I travel i seek the local angle and prefer avoiding the tourist traps. And when I host, I feel like I am traveling myself. So CS for me is really a win-win situation ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy a range of diverse styles of rock, electronic, indie, alternative, folk, reggae, jazz, hip hop and world music.
Honorable mentions: Chris Cornell, PJ Harvey, Rodriguez, Shpongle, OTT, Tool, Asaf Avidan and The Mojos, The Doors, David Bowie, Lauryn Hill, Atoms for Peace, and many others.
Same goes for films. I enjoy any genre in any language as long as it's distinctive and well done. I love Kubrick, Fincher, PT Anderson, Wes Anderson, Coen brothers, Tarantino, Scorcese, Coppola (Francis and Sofia) Henke and so many more...
TV series: Six Feet Under, The Sopranos, The Wire, South Park, Rick and Morty, Bojack Horseman, Atlanta, first seasons of GOT, and always up for a rewatch of a Married with Children episode - the Bundies just crack me!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I trekked the Annapurna Circut in Nepal, it was stunning and such a profound experience! This was part of an even greater eight month trip to India and Nepal.
Moving from the city life to the small community of Ein Gedi in the desert for two years was a very inspiring experience.
Also meeting again with some of my guests and being hosted by them in Europe was an amazing experience that has tightened our bond of friendship!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to start juggling, or how to prepare a good shakshuka (Israeli dish).
I like to learn about new music, and how to prepare some not-too-complicated food dishes.
Basically I enjoy sharing time together. I learned that if you pay close enough attention you can always learn something from the experience of meeting someone new. Couchsurfing shouldn't be just about getting a couch to sleep.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cooking, laughs, drinks, long conversations, insights... Whatever it takes to have a good time!
