ABOUT ME

I am a 26 (soon 27) year old Londoner. I run a small design agency and am also Creative Lead of a startup with plans to take over the world *does evil laugh*. I like good food, good design, good ideas and running around.

I want to work while on mountains, in ski lifts, in submarines and on the moon, I feel like it would be good for my sense of inner peace and perspective.

PHILOSOPHY

I honestly think that anyone can do whatever they want if they want it enough. Like, anything. So I'm willing to give anything a go under the naive assumption that I'll be good at it. If I'm not I go and do something else.

Currently just looking to surf but once I get to a place with a spare couch I'd like to host too.

Interests

Creativity, seeing cool shit, eating new things. Great ideas in general.

I also played lacrosse for my university (but I'm not very good at it) and very much enjoy film nights, first person shooters and reading smug-sounding books by beat/contemporary authors.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Everything from Purity Ring, Dirty Projectors to Deftones with some Joe Cocker in the middle.
Movies: I'm a bit of a film addict, will watch anything pretty much. Films I've particularly enjoyed in the last year - Shame, A Prophet, Looper, The Third Man, Drive, Batman (obv).
Books: Into poetry a bit at the moment, working my way through some T.S. Eliot. But it swings between lots of classic american lit (Gatsby, On the Road, The Road etc) to good British romps (Dickens, Hardy) with plenty of pulp (crime) fiction in between. Love book recommendations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ran the Bulls in Pamplona, that was pretty wild. Done a couple of marathons and things too.

Would love to share knowledge of starting companies, building digital products and brands and challenging preconceptions. Also not being afraid to ask big questions fo yourself and the world around you.
