Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to collect life experiences. When I grow old I want to have stories from all over the globe to pull out of my back pocket and tell people.
ABOUT ME
I grew up in a very small village in the Canadian countryside. It is hamlet of under 100 people with two theatres and a school of the arts. I have grown up learning to be tolerant of different views and philosophies. I love looking at maps and comparing different cultures. Someday I would like to go into community planning and sustainable development. As I live about two hours from the Canadian Rockies, I love to get my time in skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and rock climbing.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that about 95% of the world is utterly beautiful. This is integral to how I approach it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been to a few places and have loved every stay so far. I like this way of connecting with people and would like to continue the use of this site. While I am not in a place long enough to be a reliable host, I think once I am better settled I will start to host couchsurfers as well.
Interests
Similar to most people on this site, I love travelling. I am a student of Geography and Public Administration at the University of Victoria, hoping to do further travel during and after my studies. I like having discussions about philosophy politics, but I have become good at having these conversations without being a jerk.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to pretty much all music. I particularly enjoy classical music, and you'll also find a lot of indie and bluegrass on my phone. When it comes to movies, I like a complex storyline.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I enjoy candid philosophical and political conversations, and can engage with people in that way comfortably.
