I'm Jon, 23 and living in Cologne in Germany, where I study medicine and share a cozy flat with two friends. I'm sociable, open-minded and still looking to broaden my horizon, always looking to make new experiences ;)
The last half year which I spent in Grenoble in France, I could live my passion for aromatic cheese, hiking and winter sports. Apart from that, I enjoy cultural evnts, theatre, exhibitions and cinemas, love to go shopping on fleamarkets, used goods, old buildings, fancy furniture. I enjoy good cooking and food. I'm up for the rave as well as for the chill beer :)

My current travel is a tour through Albania, Montenegro and Serbia with my girlfriend Marlene. We will stay in hostels as well as with hospitable people like you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel because I like to see the diversity as well as the similarities of the world and when I visit a country, I would like to learn and understand as much as I can about it, its culture and the way of living there. Couchsurfing as a platform is a handy way of bringing people together. As I don't need much else other than two square meters to sleep, it's pretty perfect! Also, I find it really interesting to see other people's flats ;) Couchsurfing is much more than sharing a place to sleep, it's gaining new insights, new perspectives, even new friends.
