About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To give being an artist in the UK one good chance before spreading my wings to travel, travel, travel!

ABOUT ME

I'm pretty easy going, but have been known to talk too much. I like to hoard objects and so have a house full of technology, most of which still works. Travelling and meeting new people keeps me fresh and happy.

PHILOSOPHY

Nobody ever dies wishing they had worked harder, completed more video games or watched more television.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to promote Maidstone as a centre of Culture and Arts, but that may prove very hard. We do however have a very lively nightlife with a huge array of pubs, clubs and restaurants considering the size of the town. There are some great shops and a big market. Basically I like my town and would like to share it with you. Leeds Castle, one of the nicest in England is just 7 Km away, Chatham's Dock yard museum and Fort Amhust are also close. You could pop in on the way to Canterbury if you are traveling to or from London.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with many friends and family whilst traveling and had my first official couch surf in Nanning, China. I hope to do more in the future, and have now hosted three couples and a solo Frenchman who now works and lives in Maidstone.

Interests

Traveling, making art, reading, music, films, walking in nice places, driving fast, ticking new things off the ever expanding list of things I haven't done before, chess and computer gaming (singstar and guitar hero personal favorites at the mo.) Recently got my PADI open water diving certificate and want to spend more time under water.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing experience on the road has to be fly by wire in Queenstown, New Zealand. It really is the closet thing to being Superman.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share a passion for traveling, teach people that England isn't the unfriendly, expensive place lots of people would have you believe. I`d like to learn to smile more each day and better jokes. I can wash your dishes, and love sharing skills and learning new ones. When pushed, I can cook a half decent british meal (Ha!).

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Fiji, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Laos, Mexico, Monaco, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, United States, Vatican City State, Viet Nam
