I am originally Singaporean born but moved to Australia at the ripe age of 11months. Although having visited Singapore to see family I have very little memory of the city. I see myself as an Australian as I have been in Perth most of my life.

I studied business at university but have since deferred to travel and find myself a little bit. I would say I am highly energetic, easily to get along with and always good for a laugh (however girly I may sound when doing so). I'm rarely bored as I let my mind wonder and think of absurd things. Due to this I enjoy going for walks and let my mind be free.

My current goal in life is to visit 50 countries before im 25. I was inspired to do this from a fellow traveller. I'm currently at 22 countries. I find its a great way to visit new places. Rather then returning to the same place. Brings more diversity to travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recently signed up to this sites in hopes to meet new people. My thoughts on travel is to try and stay off the beaten track. See what the locals do. Find out what locals recommend. Experience cultures I have not been accustomed to. Be around people I would never of met if it wasn't for travel and couch surfing. I would also like to use this site in hopes to develop as a person. .

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a wide variety of music. My favourite genres would have to be Ghetto funk and Breakbeat. More on the EDM side. But I also enjoy a lot alternative rock and the classics. I'm always up to give anything a try when it comes to music.

I always have a hard time reading a book. My mind tends to wonder and i get quite restless sitting for too long. Not to say I don't enjoy reading. My favourite book, which I have read a few times, would have to be I am Legend. It isn't the largest of books which made it easier for me to sit down and tackle it. I am currently trying to read some of the all time great novels.

With movies I enjoy anything that makes you think long after the credits have rolled. The likes of; The Prestige, Prisoners, Shutter Island and other movies with the same effect. Movies that make you think even after multiple viewings are my personal favourites. I also enjoy many of the pixar movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Conquered my fear of heights, spelunking through Tham Phu Kham cave and I will be adding bungee jumping in July.
