Why I’m on Couchsurfing

By accident. After meeting two French teen girls who were robbed of ID and money while traveling in 2018 I offered them a room and help, they stayed a few days to arrange new passports and their parents forwarded money to me to give to them so they could continue travels. I view CS as a way of “paying it forward” where friendship and help costs nothing but can change lives.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2002 spent 13 weeks in Libya helping construct a school in new village community ~ 2019 volunteered 4 weeks at Syrian Refugee Camp near Adana, Turkey.
