Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My unfettered career goal is to become a wandering sage
ABOUT ME
I just finished grad school for a masters in information security, the clear transition from my Philosophy major in undergrad. I don't tend to follow sensible, prescribed paths.
I've done most of my international traveling on Semester at Sea, a study abroad program where you live on a ship for 3 months while it goes around the world. And you get college credit, which is a bonus.
I think I have a sense of humor and an open mind. At the very least, I try to be respectful of other people, which is about all you need to get along with anyone.
If you search for me on Facebook, I have a more detailed description there if you want more info.
PHILOSOPHY
It's all about the golden rule.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've heard a lot about this community and I'm excited to become a part of it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had a great experience in London, and I hope that will be able to continue. I also had a good experience in NYC. Not enough people come through Pittsburgh! Drop me a line, I have some time to host as long as I'm in town.
Interests
Games, sport but basketball/volleyball in particular, learning about the world, in particular how messed up everything is in the futile hope that I'll be able to do something about it someday, chillin out maxin relaxin all cool.

Teach, Learn, Share
Individualism shouldn't get in the way of how similar we all are. No one is going to make it through this alone.
The one serious conviction that one should have is that nothing should not be taken too seriously.
