About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Currently backpacking the UK and Europe. I want to meet some great people, eat some great food.
ABOUT ME
I'm an outgoing and curious person, I don't drink, and don't love to party. I'm originally from New Zealand, but moved to Los Angeles last year to live with my girlfriend.
My loves are good coffee, good food (I'll try almost anything) and exercise. I'm an active person and I love discovering new cultures and food; meeting new people and sharing ideas. I'm a curious person by nature and am always wanting to hear someone else's point of view, especially when it is different to mine. I love to explore a new place and get a feel for an area. I don't necessarily like to hit all the sightseeing spots, because there's always more to a place than the guide book will let on.
I'm a neat and tidy person, I have great personal hygiene and am very good at respecting the space of others. Sometimes a write a blog, feel free to check it out, it's probably a pretty good portrayal of the type of person that I am.
PHILOSOPHY
I spent the first half of my twenties living for when I was in my forties. I had a good career and a house, but at a point I realised that none of those things actually made me happy. I've now rid myself of it all and am starting again, I want to experience all that I can from life.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't watch a lot of movies and TV these days. But in the past I've been interested in a wide range of things. Action/drama/comedy/anime/sport.
I like biographies and non-fiction. Omnivore's Dilemma, Shantaram, Hitchhiker's Guide.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Visiting Angkor Wat was pretty special; being able to stand on stones that I knew where over 1000 years old felt pretty incredible. I also taught and lived for a month in a village on my second trip to Cambodia, I was humbled by how people on the other side of my world live.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm really into nutrition and healthy living. I think that life is a balance, and love to offer people advice (when they ask). Although I'm only 27, I've been through a lot of things which have helped me grow and learn, but also give me an interesting perspective on life in general.
