I seek to find my niche; to find a city where I can identify with the culture and people and slowly move my way through the beauty and culture of all of it. I want to visit as many places as possible before finally deciding which has won my heart.

Overall I'm laid back, but I can get buck and have fun in the right situation. I really like to learn about weird things.

PHILOSOPHY

I loosely follow taoism, buddhism, positive thinking, and dadaism, surrealism, and the concepts of reality truly being what one makes it. I seek to be understanding and loving of all people in all ways, no matter who they are. I love to joke and be ridiculous, fabulous, and outlandish, though I also love to be stoic, collected, serious, and intense. Life is a gamut of all things, and I believe one must play their cards to the fullest extent to truly get the richness they seek.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to visit with other people and see what their lives are like. I don't host at the moment because I'm searching for a city to live in outside of my hometown, but once I am settle I'll definitely start hosting.

I've always stayed with close friends in my travels, but I would love to make friends with new people along my newer travels.

Music, Movies, and Books

Collecting music and art books is my thing. Genre wise, I am really into hardcore punk, post punk, darkwave/coldwave, old electronica, heavy metal, trap beats, a bit of hardstyle, noise rock, some math rock, noisey pogo punk, memphis rap, black metal, and maybe a few other things I haven't named. I like comics and graphic novels, and I tend to collect factual information as far as books go.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tim Heidecker pulled me on stage during a Tim & Eric live performance and we all sang an improvised song on the spot. Also I've beaten a lot of NES games.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teaching? I can teach anyone how to think about their work critically. How to teach themselves what they can solve within their own problems. I have plenty of artists' techniques to share, and I am a little bit tech savvy. I tend to be a jack of all trades from time to time, so I have a little bit to offer about many unexpected philosophies and interests.
